my trusty HP printer finally succumbed to old age 2 weeks ago... (when i had to print my assignment!!! thanks Yue for helping me out then :D)

so we decided to get a new 1 =)
kor say Canon is better than HP
but in my opinion.. it's SLOWER!!! ROAR!

well.. maybe it's cause...

this printer has 3 functions!!!
besides printing, it can copy and scan too! how cool is that? (excuse my jakun-ness... but this IS new to the Dot :P)

on top of all the coolness of this new gadget...
DOT INSTALLED and SETUP-ed THE PRINTER ALL BY HERSELF!!! (you've REALLY gotta give me some credit... cause it's DOT we're talking about here! heh! :D)

On another end, my phone bill has been peaking due to the increase of non-Maxis-user friends that i have...
positive point to note: i have MORE frens XD
negative point... it's increased my bill by 50% :(
so after some consideration, i decided... since u cant beat em'
JOIN EM'!
i'm half a DiGi user now... my loyalty still goes to Maxis cause it took me SO MANY tries just to add Friends on that Family and Friends thingy! pfft!
but now that i have a DiGi number, i THINK i am saving a lot la... we'll see when this month's bill comes *fingers crossed* XP

been reading some blogs... on how frens have been rethinking 08... well.. i havent been reminiscing about 2008.. cause i was procrastinating? *lalala*
nonetheless, i'm thankful that i could just sit here and type! :D
there were certainly ups and downs in 2008,
1 particular down would be my studies!!!
didnt do too well in my spring sem... summer was good =) but then fall... ha! results arent out yet.. am trusting for a miracle!! oh well, will try harder this year! =)

oh ya! my 2008's resolution! to be a better daughter! *lalala* lets just say... i'll be setting that as my 09's resolution too! :P

hmm.. as for UPs!
my skin's recovering! PRAISE THE LORD! altho it has occasional bumps... due to haywired sleepin time... i'm very happy it's not painful to smile anymore =)

much more happened thru out the year.. but like i said.. i havent been thinkin about it.. so i'm typing as what comes to my mind (and clearly at 2.. with NO afternoon naps.. my mind doesnt have pretty much in it! :P)

ooh! my first dinner in 2009, Sizzling Lamb Chop from Salmon Steak
altho it wasnt some canggih place... but i'm still happy cause i LOOOOVVVVEEEEEEEEEE Lamb!!! :D

after dinner we went to Carrefour... heh! of all the places to go on New Year's Day hoh?

it was only a slight bump... but it hurt REAL bad...
oh ya.. if u look carefully, u can see a blister at the eye of my baby toe too!
got that when i went to pyramid with yen on Wed cause i wore pumps.
poor baby toe...

the verdict is CLEAR: i'm a FlipFlops gal! but i wouldnt mind pretty/hot heels as long as i dont have to walk consecutively for half and hour in them! :P

ah ha! my 2009's resolution:
besides being a better daughter...
i wanna stop eating supper (which i've failed TERRIBLY at keeping cause we had refreshments after watch nite service... and after having the porridge... koko gave me a choc muffin!! how to resist le? :P)
i wanna be more consistent in my spiritual walk =)
since dieting is IMPOSSIBLE for me, i will do more sit ups and lunges (walking and jogging is still a NO NO for Dot :P)
lastly, i wanna sleep by 1 am everynight! (cause i dont want to get scolding from my beautician *teehee*)

heh! i have no idea how would 2009 be like for me...
and i cant say that i'll be ready come what may...
but 1 thing for sure, i'll face it with FAITH!

these were the happenings before Sexy was brought home :D

a week before our finals, we (Sab, Yue and i) went for SEGi's CF's Christmas Bash :D
in the pic is SANDRA! she was one of the emcees that evening :D

few days later, teman-ed my bro for a field trip in Sime Darby Healthcare Centre (formally known as SJMC) i still think SJMC sounds nicer! and i was born there! so how can they just change the name! pfft!
had to go to a few places..

the Imaging dept was 1 of them.
i passed the blood bank too! wanted to take a pic of it.. but i shy la :P

btw, i didnt just go there to walk aimlessly and take bad-lighting pics la.. was there with my bro cause he had to see the doc about the lump on his chest.

mom wasnt around after koko's surgery.. so we had to eat out (thank U Jesus for my mommy) since koko cant eat chicken (some traditional belief) neither can he eat beef (again... the traditional belief) so i suggested we went to Salmon Steak for LAMB! emm emmMMM!! BUT! my dad... the genius... said no... Logenhaus, Taipan is better... so ok lo... as long as i get my lamb i'm happy :P

after my finals... didnt do much... wanted to play online games.. but as u know.. my com died.. ROAR! so i bumed..
then it was Grace's bday on the 6th, a Sat... cell was on Fri... so being the ever-so-LOVELY cell leader that i am... got an idea of a bday gift!
TADA!!! i uber love this T... but then ar... suddenly i felt shame while thinking of getting it for myself... (i'm not always so no shame 1 k... :P)
and it struck me that Grace would love it and carry it off.. so we (the cell) got it for her lo! =)
