Embarrassment OVERDOSED!!!

sigh... this would not come as a surprise to most of u that already know me.. or have actually spent a full's day out with me..

but for the benefit of those that are deprived of the privilege of spending time with Dot... and for those that find Dot embarrassing herself ever-so-amusing (sigh! :P)
i have decided to blog about what happened today...

after class, dad wanted to pay some bills at the post office but me being a DIVA! hah! insisted that i was FED! so daddy dropped me at Nirvana (no.. not the funeral parlour) but the banana leaf rice restaurant in USJ9 while he settle the bills..

so i went in alone lo..

as i entered, the boss came out and walked towards me...

he mumbled something...

thinking that he'd recognize me cause my family and i always go there (there u go! a HINT to my stalkers :P)

i told him.. sigh... cant believe i did it but this was what i said, "table for 1 pls"

he was like, "huh?"

AND I OUGHT TO SHOOT MYSELF FOR ACTUALLY REPEATING, "table for 1" *with the index-finger-lifted-up-gesture, signing ONE*

once again, he went, "HUH?"

then it struck me... was he talking to me when he mumbled? do they have the "pls wait to be seated" rule here?

and the correct answer is: NO! (to both questions) *drops head in shame*

so i quickly walked in and sat down with my back facing the boss, determined to never look at his direction again!

OH! just when you thot, HAHA, There! Dot did it again! Once again updating her list of embarrassing moments...

well... I WAS ON A ROLL!!

just minutes later, Dot's Embaraz-O-meter climbed a notch! (sigh...)

i ordered the fried vege (i know i shouldnt be eating that... but it's so yummy!!)
with my conscience constantly YANKING my senses, i decided to flip the entire plate of fried vege over a piece of tissue so the oil will flow down and sip into the tissue...

but i just had to keep the butterfinger's Pride alive...

the vege spilled... LOTS of it... shy shy SHY!!!

i think nobody witnessed wat happened... i HOPE nobody witnessed wat happened!!

note to self: never attempt any stunts with food, pots, pans, knives... as a matter of fact, NEVER ATTEMPT ANY STUNTS, PERIOD!

altho my mom didnt find that funny (maybe she's immuned with my embarrassing moments) but i still hope that they amused you...

Of an Irony and Colors

just when i thot i dont have anything to blog about (well.. i thot i didnt have anything to blog about like 3 days ago la.. now i actually have SOMETHING to blog about.. but i will blog about THIS first k! :P)

the Irony: i got my DRIVER's license done!
heh! YES, the Dot DOES have a Driver's license, i'm actually AUTHORISED to drive! the thing is... this authority maybe RETRACTED when i do DRIVE *sigh* hence i've put it on hold :P
STILL! the license had to be done la.. if i dont do it within a year after my 'P' expires, i've gotta take the test ALL OVER AGAIN! and NEVER am i gonna do that!

on Fri morn, Yen was such a dear when she agreed to send me to JPJ to get my license done.
upon arriving at JPJ and taking my number...

finally we found this small photostudio thingy (i think it's in PJ state la.. but u know Dot and directions.. :P) which could get a pic of me done in 10 mins!


so this was the outcome!
kinda dreaded taking a pic after my haircut cause i think it's too short and i look like a durian -.-
but i guess it turned out oK! :D

on the same day, Yen and i went to the Curve so Yen could get a haircut and so i can do a lil more SHOPPING! *muahahaha* :P
while Yen was getting her ever-so-long haircut, i bought a top and discovered one of my FAV shops!
Daiso, a jap shop that sells everything from cosmetics, kitchen ware, to stationery for RM 5 :D
when i saw the pens, i knew i HAD to buy them!!
cause they were oil based, color ballpens, i thot they would be reliable la ;)
got them and then camwhored FOR them :P






imagine what would we be missing out if our world was just black and white...

been reading some blogs... on how frens have been rethinking 08... well.. i havent been reminiscing about 2008.. cause i was procrastinating? *lalala*
nonetheless, i'm thankful that i could just sit here and type! :D
there were certainly ups and downs in 2008,
1 particular down would be my studies!!!
didnt do too well in my spring sem... summer was good =) but then fall... ha! results arent out yet.. am trusting for a miracle!! oh well, will try harder this year! =)

oh ya! my 2008's resolution! to be a better daughter! *lalala* lets just say... i'll be setting that as my 09's resolution too! :P

hmm.. as for UPs!
my skin's recovering! PRAISE THE LORD! altho it has occasional bumps... due to haywired sleepin time... i'm very happy it's not painful to smile anymore =)

much more happened thru out the year.. but like i said.. i havent been thinkin about it.. so i'm typing as what comes to my mind (and clearly at 2.. with NO afternoon naps.. my mind doesnt have pretty much in it! :P)

it was only a slight bump... but it hurt REAL bad...
oh ya.. if u look carefully, u can see a blister at the eye of my baby toe too!
got that when i went to pyramid with yen on Wed cause i wore pumps.
poor baby toe...

the verdict is CLEAR: i'm a FlipFlops gal! but i wouldnt mind pretty/hot heels as long as i dont have to walk consecutively for half and hour in them! :P

ah ha! my 2009's resolution:
besides being a better daughter...
i wanna stop eating supper (which i've failed TERRIBLY at keeping cause we had refreshments after watch nite service... and after having the porridge... koko gave me a choc muffin!! how to resist le? :P)
i wanna be more consistent in my spiritual walk =)
since dieting is IMPOSSIBLE for me, i will do more sit ups and lunges (walking and jogging is still a NO NO for Dot :P)
lastly, i wanna sleep by 1 am everynight! (cause i dont want to get scolding from my beautician *teehee*)

heh! i have no idea how would 2009 be like for me...
and i cant say that i'll be ready come what may...
but 1 thing for sure, i'll face it with FAITH!

to all my readers, wishing you a HAPPY New Year would be rather cliche... looking at the economic crisis across the globe... can this New Year really be a HAPPY one?

so yes! i did SUDOKU! :D
finally realise i could actually do it (without seeing the answers of course, altho i occasionally do to check if i'm on the right track :P) while i was still studying for my finals :D YES! i was THAT easily distracted from my books... even SUDOKU could distract me *shy*

since i've got nothing better to do or should i say... nothing better that i WANT to do... :P i did sudoku whenever my dad remembers to buy the papers :D

OH! FINALLY! my LATEST update!
TODAY! oh... it's 1.15am now... so fine.. YESTERDAY...
went with Em and her family to this dessert shop's opening to test out their desserts. the shop's called Snowflake.
these are a few of the desserts they had up for tasting..
it's quite complicated to explain every bowl...
therefore i'll just explain mine la k!
it's tauhua based, with sweet potato toppings.
i realised i like my tauhua warm/hot... they had ice shavings in my syrup which diluted the syrup... so ya.. that's 1 boo boo for them. but the environment was nice and clean tho! so 1 thumbsup!
gah! so hard to decide if i'll go back there again!
in moments like this... the PRICE plays a BIG part, BUT! we didnt know the price of our desserts cause we tasted them for free...
so... MAYBE i MITE go there again to check for the warm selections la..

:D i'm still VERY happy to have my internet connection back! :D
the next few days' gonna be BUSY BUSY!! cause CHRISTMAS is HERE!!! WOOHOO!!!!

hey hey!! miss me? :P
it's been AWHILE since i last blogged! well... partly due to my finals... had to study u know!
BUT! mainly cause my com CRASHED!!! i almost cried when that happened... cause a series of things happened b4 the com crashed... (it crashed like 2 weeks ago! ask me how i survived, ask me ASK ME!!! :P)

so this is a preview of the things i will blog about la.. from the most current to the most my memory can take me :P

it's 7/12/08 10:32pm now... and guess what?! i'm blogging from a cyber cafe in PJ far from home! well.. actually PJ isnt that far from home la.. but considering the turns that eu jin made.. (ya.. me is here with the lims-Grace and Esther, Eu jin and ha! the pianist guy that i can never catch his name *shy*) they are playing counter strike while esther's chatting and me is BLOGGIN! :D

5th dec- i went to time square! ( i cant believe the com here la! the Q key is missing!!! so i have to use a pen to poke it! SMART LE? :P) for the 1st time!!! :D well... it's like sg wang la.. the shops there are very colorful... as in the things sold in the shops are very colorful, if u know what i mean...
BUT!!! i managed to get a plain T for 9.90 and a vest that i oh-so-like for 25!!! :D
the catch there is that u cant try on the clothes... so it's kinda scary... i saw this dress that was 25 too... wanted to get it... but i couldnt seem to find the dressing room... it was so sad! i walked around in the shop with LOTS of ppl around me like a lost child :( then i saw the little hand-written-sign "NO TRYING" :(
who buys dresses without trying them? (online shopping doesnt count la :P)
didnt get to walk much tho.. cause bro was UPSET the time he came to meet me *pfft*
so i didnt even get to SEE the rides :(

left after an hour or so... like after the HOUR drive we took to get there! ish! and then to get stuck in yet another hour of jam! -.-
but it was PRODUCTIVE! :P

days before- had my finals on the 3rd and 4th. they went pretty well =) thank U Jesus! guess maybe that's y my com crashed at such a timely moment la.. so i could concentrate studyin :P

the week before:
teman-ed my bro to the hosp- Sime Darby Healthcare/Hospital something like that la :P so sad rite? it's no longer called SJMC... SJMC was an ICON ok!! no idea why they changed it.. it was pretty obvious that sjmc belonged to sime darby... considering they share the SAME logo! oh well! ANYWAYS! will blog more about that when i get me com back! cause i have pics! :D

the week before before :P...
i was compiling my pictures for my photography class assignment.. happy happy i was with the result!! (as in the pics i took la.. not the grade i got for the assg.. dunno bout the grade yet)

GOTTA GO! they are done with their CS! more updates the next time i get my hands on a com that has internet connection!

i sat for my MUET!!! (Malaysian University English Test) the oral part only tho.. which happens to be the 1 i'm most afraid of!! i know.. kinda contradictory to the Dot u know rite... DOT? afraid to talk?? well... usually me talking dont involve marks.. and if my tongue twists.. it's alright.. but!!! a TEST wo!!! see! cant use Wo.. Ma.. La... STRESS!!!

but nonetheless! it's over! i'm soO happy!!! :D

the question i got was "what are the qualities of a good parent" and the point i got was Open mindedness.

wont write what i said here la.. cause i malas to recall :P i just know that i kept repeating the same words... well... what to do! the test started at 8AM!!!

the Walkathon was organized by the Malaysia Mental Health Association (MMHA) i think :P

the walkathon was to bring awareness to the public that mental health patients should be respected as individuals too!
so dear readers, i know it can be hard... but do try to change ur mindset towads them, cause just as much as a cancer patient needs care and support, so does a mental health patient!
=)

oh yes! what's the post gotta do with the title u may ask...
well.. after the walkathon... i had to go back to church and attend the Spiritual Parenting class til 7.35 PM!!!

the 2 hours after lunch was HORRIBLE!!! i could hardly open my eyes! but then we had a break and we changed speaker.. so it got better :P
things were still fine after the 2nd break... and when the speaker reverted to the 1st pastor... BUT!!!

by 7pm... my mind was playing games with me... the speaker kept talking about AUTHORITY...

so peeps... try saying A DOROTHY like twice per second when u are nodding away... and u'll get what i mean...
