This is What I Call a HOLIDAY!

after MUCH planning and discussion... actually more discussion! we decided to go to NiuZeXui for lunch on Friday... plan was to meet at Liie's place @ 12pm cause we were goin in 2 cars... and Liie knows the way.

HOWEVER... Em had to take her passport... so we (Yen, Em and I) were 1/2 an hour late to get to Liie's place...

WORSE STILL!!! to our surprise... Yeem and Carrere werent there yet!

another 1/2 and hour passed as we waited at Liie's place... then!

the phone rang...
Car: THAT YEEM JUST WOKE UP!!!

everyone else: @#$@#@#$%#)(*#$*(@@!! (hehe! no worries... no foul language were used in the course of this conversation :P)

drive drive drive... picked carrere... drive turn turn...

and we saw THIS!!!

the WOMAN was drying her clothes!
AIH!!! and judging by what she was wearing... we knew we were gonna have to wait LONGER!
so we (more like "I") resorted to camwhoring in the car with Car ;)

while Yeem bathes -.-
this is why i said "I" resorted to camwhoring with Car.. cause no one else wanted to camwhore with me!
hence the face :P

finally we reached NZX... i'll let the pics describe the place k! =)

ooh! i like the starbucks there! so cool rite? it has 3 floors!
Car guessed the top floor would be the smoking zone.. i hope NOT! cause if it was.. then non-smoking ppl wont get to enjoy the view up there...

then we had lunch in Full House (the one Liie and Car were talking about so much that we thot they ate there before... but the truth?)

Liie: DUNNO.. never ate here before.. walked passed only

but that's cool la.. cause they had a real interesting menu!
instead of just listing all the set meals available in one page...
they had drawings of the sets!

they even have a mini boutique... which i sneaked into to take some shots while waiting for the food :D

like LITERALLY! i noticed i could see Yeem through the bottom of my glass.. so i thot.. ee.. experiment time!

but the pic's blur for a few reasons possible:
the cam was off focus... my left hand (holding the glass) was shaking cause the glass is VERY HEAVY!!! or the glass is dirty/frosted/wet...

was just talking to Yen that parents should buy more beneficial toys for their children when we saw some dad walking his daughter that was walking with this butterfly thingy in Pyramid.
see... u have to push the butterfly thingy in a straight line for it to actually work...
well.. how many kids can even WALK in a straight line? needless to say PUSH?
so they end up dragging this across the floor creating a deafening screeching noise! (u getting the picture?)

been reading some blogs... on how frens have been rethinking 08... well.. i havent been reminiscing about 2008.. cause i was procrastinating? *lalala*
nonetheless, i'm thankful that i could just sit here and type! :D
there were certainly ups and downs in 2008,
1 particular down would be my studies!!!
didnt do too well in my spring sem... summer was good =) but then fall... ha! results arent out yet.. am trusting for a miracle!! oh well, will try harder this year! =)

oh ya! my 2008's resolution! to be a better daughter! *lalala* lets just say... i'll be setting that as my 09's resolution too! :P

hmm.. as for UPs!
my skin's recovering! PRAISE THE LORD! altho it has occasional bumps... due to haywired sleepin time... i'm very happy it's not painful to smile anymore =)

the verdict is CLEAR: i'm a FlipFlops gal! but i wouldnt mind pretty/hot heels as long as i dont have to walk consecutively for half and hour in them! :P

besides being a better daughter...
i wanna stop eating supper (which i've failed TERRIBLY at keeping cause we had refreshments after watch nite service... and after having the porridge... koko gave me a choc muffin!! how to resist le? :P)
i wanna be more consistent in my spiritual walk =)
since dieting is IMPOSSIBLE for me, i will do more sit ups and lunges (walking and jogging is still a NO NO for Dot :P)
lastly, i wanna sleep by 1 am everynight! (cause i dont want to get scolding from my beautician *teehee*)

heh! i have no idea how would 2009 be like for me...
and i cant say that i'll be ready come what may...
but 1 thing for sure, i'll face it with FAITH!

it'll be for any random thot that comes to my mind, thots that could be the possible answer for a situation... i'm not so good in explaining.. so i'll just give an example k...

2 things: when your date brings u to a restaurant that has no other customers

1: he's soO sweet (not to mention rich) he booked the entire restaurant so he can be there alone with u

2: he chose a BAD restaurant :P

Dinner with the Tans

On Christmas day, we had our extended family invited to our place for dinner! mom cooked =) i helped clean the house :D
i was so tired after that so i went to bathe and KO-ed for an hour... after that... was PARTY time!
relatives started comin in family by family...
cousin Alex and gf brought some party hats and packs... Ah Cheng cheh cheh insisted the hosts should wear the hats...
so voila! eh.. i is DOT k! of course i'll take the most GLAM 1! :P
oh Jo!! see the T i'm wearing? *teehee* it's soO cute! so i couldnt resist wearing it! :D (but i think i need to work on my tummy so it'll look nicer on me.. :( )

around 7pm, half of the guests arrived... and that's my bro with the santa hat.. he looks like an ELF doesnt he? :P

while waiting for the rest to come, we did some caroling
led by daddy and mommy's cell leader, Mr. Lee =)

as u can see... most of them were distracted...
cause MORE relatives came!

mom had a plan for the dinner, she wanted it to be evangelistical cause not all of our extended family members were Christians. so after caroling, we played the All I Want for Christmas that we did for LIITA. hehe! i was the game master la =) then Mr. Lee shared a lil about the true meaning of Christmas and it was MAKAN time!
