My antiques and i were out last nite for some dessert and we talked on the topic of fending off guys that do not interest you...

the scenario: At the bar, a guy (not of your interest) comes and offers to buy u a drink

Guy: hey (in a very cheesy/horny tone) Can i buy u a drink?
Gal: (innocently) hmm.. can u buy me food instead? it's been a long day and i've not eaten a single thing!

Home Sweet Home

this post is 1 day late.. but since i have nothing to blog about at the moment, i'll blog bout this *teehee*

as some of you mite know, my parents sent my popo back to Ipoh on Mon noon, leaving me home alone (for a few hours only tho cause my bro comes home after work)

i always thot i enjoyed the occasional alone time i have with the house.. it makes me feel grown up (which i'm supposed to be la.. sigh.. but that another story! :P)

mon was still alrite cause while waiting for news about my kong kong, i did accounts.. had lunch and then watched Horton Hears A Who?! which i happen to like! i think i REALLY like Dr. Seuss' work, the narration of the movies made based on his books are SO COOL! the narration's done in rhymes!

so ya.. back to the story...

then came tues morn..
it's as if that my tues blues arent bad enuf (with the fact that i have ACCOUNTS!!! it's getting better tho)
i woke up, already feeling down cause i dont want to go to coll...
i had to wake up to an empty house! :( (well, my bro was around la.. but he's dead asleep! -.-)
the house was so quiet.. for a second, i felt like crying...
but the thot of Sandra coming to pick me up made me hurry up cause i tend to stone for MINUTES!! :P

classes werent that bad..

we marked our accounts assignments.. did pretty well, Thank You Jesus! =)
then noon class.. we did was we usually do.. NOTHING! heh!

Sandra fetched me home too cause daddy said they'll only leave Ipoh at 4.30 pm.. classes end at 4! :S

Once again, i had to go back to an empty house.. this time, it was REALLY empty!
bro went to work and i didnt have the usual excited shouts of "Dory Cheh Cheh(s)" to greet me when i opened the door... that's the thing... I HAD TO OPEN THE DOOR!!! (i usually just open the grill :P) *emo*
glad i had Yeem chat with me online (THANKS GAL! =) )

then i watched Wild Hogs (i love my laptop! :P)

2 hours passed and finally i hear the oh-so-familiar-it-sounds-like-a-small-plane's-landing-sound of my dad's car!!

A Friendly Reminder

just when i'm all excited about CNY, thinking of what to wear and which cookie to try first...

i saw THIS...

so that's ONE more day DOWN!

that makes 5 more days...
but considering 3/4 of today is over...
that makes it 4 more days...
HOWEVER! i've got no class on Fri, which pushes the beginning of my CNY hols 1 day ahead....
so it's 3 more days!
FURTHERMORE!!! it's the WEEKENDS!!!

Of an Irony and Colors

just when i thot i dont have anything to blog about (well.. i thot i didnt have anything to blog about like 3 days ago la.. now i actually have SOMETHING to blog about.. but i will blog about THIS first k! :P)

the Irony: i got my DRIVER's license done!
heh! YES, the Dot DOES have a Driver's license, i'm actually AUTHORISED to drive! the thing is... this authority maybe RETRACTED when i do DRIVE *sigh* hence i've put it on hold :P
STILL! the license had to be done la.. if i dont do it within a year after my 'P' expires, i've gotta take the test ALL OVER AGAIN! and NEVER am i gonna do that!

on Fri morn, Yen was such a dear when she agreed to send me to JPJ to get my license done.
upon arriving at JPJ and taking my number...
JPJ staff: Cik ada bawa GAMBAR?
Dot: NEED MEH?!

dearie Yen pushed her dear-ness UP a notch when she drove me around PJ state to get a pic of me taken!

finally we found this small photostudio thingy (i think it's in PJ state la.. but u know Dot and directions.. :P) which could get a pic of me done in 10 mins!


so this was the outcome!
kinda dreaded taking a pic after my haircut cause i think it's too short and i look like a durian -.-
but i guess it turned out oK! :D

the colors:
on the same day, Yen and i went to the Curve so Yen could get a haircut and so i can do a lil more SHOPPING! *muahahaha* :P
while Yen was getting her ever-so-long haircut, i bought a top and discovered one of my FAV shops!
Daiso, a jap shop that sells everything from cosmetics, kitchen ware, to stationery for RM 5 :D
when i saw the pens, i knew i HAD to buy them!!
cause they were oil based, color ballpens, i thot they would be reliable la ;)
got them and then camwhored FOR them :P






imagine what would we be missing out if our world was just black and white...

it's MADNESS i tell u!!! waking up at 5.40 am just to go for a walkathon... yes.. by now most of u should be like... DOT? WALKATHON? teehee! i went there to take pics only la..

it was an assignment for me photography class...

the Walkathon was organized by the Malaysia Mental Health Association (MMHA) i think :P

the walkathon was to bring awareness to the public that mental health patients should be respected as individuals too!
so dear readers, i know it can be hard... but do try to change ur mindset towads them, cause just as much as a cancer patient needs care and support, so does a mental health patient!
=)

oh yes! what's the post gotta do with the title u may ask...
well.. after the walkathon... i had to go back to church and attend the Spiritual Parenting class til 7.35 PM!!!

the 2 hours after lunch was HORRIBLE!!! i could hardly open my eyes! but then we had a break and we changed speaker.. so it got better :P
things were still fine after the 2nd break... and when the speaker reverted to the 1st pastor... BUT!!!

by 7pm... my mind was playing games with me... the speaker kept talking about AUTHORITY...

so peeps... try saying A DOROTHY like twice per second when u are nodding away... and u'll get what i mean...

Foo kinda dropped a major hint that my blog's turning into a travel blog... it explains.. malacca.. then perhentian.. *lalala* i just like traveling!

look at the amount of coffee powder they put on the cake! it made the cake bitter.. so i swept them off and drew this! :P

celebrated the Foo(s) birthdays! in the Apartment, Curve. dont want to go there again la... expensive food and not very yummy anymore *boohoo*

kong kong so cute! he blew the harmonica for us...
hmm... i cried.. just thinking of the fact that he's growing older by the day... and i cant be beside him... yea.. so i cried... dear readers, pls pray along ya! for my kong kong to just enjoy his days =)

had a farewell for Yen at a new found banana leaf rice place that i actually LIKE! called Nirvana in USJ 9... or is it NirWana? oh well... same difference la! :P

adjourned to Old Town Kopitiam later.. it's like our hang out spot... i dunno why.. i like that place :D

P.A.D Affairs

altho wat u are about to read.. is pretty personal... but.. i JUST have to blog about it! :P

Dot: OH! ok! buy me pantyliner ya!

usually i'll tag along... but.. due to my exams.. (which i've finished on MON!!! *woOhOo*) i stayed home to study. so i gave mom the descriptions of the pantyliner i wanted... (she buys them for me all the time... but she forgets... it's the AGE thing la :P)

so yea! mom got me the stuff... HOWEVER!!!
it was different from the one i wanted!
i opened it and...

CUTE LE??? i soO totally like it! (hence i'm adding this to the Wonders of Dot :P)

see see... compared to the one i got myself days before after running out on them. (even this has more flowers than the brand i usually use)

but the cute pantyliners came with a price la... it's RM5 more ex...
the reason mom bought them was cause... the promoter said it's at a PROMOTION price and it's NEW...

the moral of the story is... educate urself when u want to buy something.
Compare prices.. the product may be cheaper than it's original price. But when compared with other brands... the results may be otherwise.
Well of course u'll have to weigh the other factors of the product such as its quality... but since it's pantyliner we're talking about here... a good quality will do. no need of pretty packaging la :D

i dont blame mom for this... she's the BOMB when it comes to shopping for groceries...
so here's another tip: if u dont wanna be "bluffed" with words like SALES, PROMOTION. etc... SHOP MORE! cause... u'll tend to notice and know the price difference when u are familiar with the prices! shopping needs experience too u know! :P

this goes out to the guys: Dont complain when we gals take HOURS to shop... we're gaining more experience and we're trying to SAVE! (to those with girlfrens/wives... it's YOUR money we're saving! so BEAR with it! :P)

September Morning

September is always the month that i look forward to in a year aside December =)

but things are different this year...

i wanna just sit down and cry... but i dont really have the time to... and i cant find my drama mode to... (or should i say i'm not allowing myself to find it) it's like i have this tear dam in my tear gland... will my tears dry up before bursting thru the "dam"?

once again, it's the time of the year that you wished u hadn't strike out the days of each month that quickly... it's the end of my summer sem... as dull as the lectures were, 1 good activity is ENOUGH to spice up the entire semester!

yesterday was the 2nd last class of Human Motivation! after the camp... we were all drowsy and i have to tell the truth! after all the adrenaline rush... we had to go into a class and listen to a lullaby!!! so what's a girl to do???
